Northeast Social Action Program (NESAP) Collection

Throughout the year, we collect food, personal hygiene items, and pet supplies which is delivered monthly to NESAP, a local food bank/thrift shop dedicated to assisting those in need.

Jingle Jar Spare Change Collection

Each Sunday following morning service, we take up a special offering of spare change. These proceeds are donated monthly to The Fisher Foundation which provides lodging and medical assistance to veterans and their families.

LWR - Baskets of Promise

(Personal Hygiene Kits)

Each year, the congregation of St. Abrahams joins Lutheran World Relief and assembles personal hygiene kits to be sent to third world countries. Kits have been delivered to Burkina Faso, Nepal, El Salvador, among other countries in need. Each kit includes a towel, a comb, a toothbrush, 2 bars of soap, and nail clippers. In 2019 we sent 32 bundles which were distributed to several different countries.

St. Abrahams Community Picnic -- FREE -- July 2020 Event Cancelled Due to Covid-19

Join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship at St. Abrahams! The church provides all the food, children's games, and activities for all ages. Bring a lawn chair and listen to the Alesia Band. Raffle tickets available for wonderful donated prize baskets and an old-fashioned cakewalk!

NESAP Back-to-School Collection

We collect backpacks, paper, pens, pencils, erasers. flash drives, pencil cases, binders, notebooks, etc. to be distributed to local children in need to start them off for the new school year.

Mission and Merriness Day

On this day, after morning worship, we gather inside to create baskets for church and community member shut-ins while outside, members of the congregation work to tidy up the grounds by raking leaves and removing debris.

December - Yearly

Christmas Adopt-A-Family

Each year, the congregation "adopts" a family going through difficult times, to brighten their holidays with gifts and good will.
